About Actiflow

Actiflow is a Dutch engineering company specialized in aerodynamics. The company was founded in 2005 as a spin off from Delft University of Technology. During the first few years Actiflow mainly worked in the automotive industry, cooperating with large OEMs for the aerodynamic analysis and design of new cars and for the optimization of their wind tunnels. Over the years, Actiflow started offering engineering and design services in many other industries.

Indoor Skydiving Development

In 2014, the company began its involvement in it’s first indoor skydiving project. Based on their existing knowledge in aerodynamic design, flow simulations, engineering, software development and control system design, Actiflow developed and delivered the technical tunnel design including control & measurement software for the new City Skydive center in Utrecht (NL). This location is the first indoor skydive center in Europe with 2 wind tunnels next to each other.

Since this project, the company has been in several indoor skydiving developments all over the world.

Services

Our vision is that we deliver and test all parts of the wind tunnel that are most critical for its performance, while our customer can limit its costs by working with local partners for construction.

We offer both standard and customized indoor skydive tunnel design, control & measurement software and hardware, project management and tunnel commissioning for a fixed price. We also deliver the specs for the required fans and motors, or we can even add them to our package of deliverables.

Together with the owner of City Skydive Utrecht, we also offer a standard package of deliverable products as built in Utrecht (NL).
