The tunnel was designed and built by iFLY Tunnel Systems (formerly, SkyVenture), the most prolific wind tunnel manufacturer worldwide, having built more than 100 wind tunnels across the globe.
The wind tunnel works by drawing air through the top of the tunnel and then recirculating it through the bottom, creating a smooth, laminar airflow with wind speeds of up to 175 mph, or 282 km/h. This design provides lift and allows you to experience the sensation of freefall, just like when skydiving from an airplane.
The Experience at Inflight Indoor Skydiving Dubai
When you arrive at Inflight Indoor Skydiving Dubai, you will be greeted by friendly staff who will guide you through the process. You'll be given all the gear you need, including a jumpsuit, goggles, helmet, and earplugs, before getting training from a qualified instructor.
Once you've gone through the basics and learned about safety inside the tunnel as well as some maneuvers and hand signals for communication (the fans can get pretty noisy!) it's time to head through to the flight chamber.
Once inside the wind tunnel, the adrenaline rush will hit you. You will experience weightlessness, supported by the powerful wind. With speeds reaching up to 282 km/h, you will be able to perform aerial maneuvers with the help of your instructor, who will communicate with you via hand signals.
After your session your instructor will give you a debrief and you'll return your gear before receiving your indoor skydiving certificate.

Came back for another visit on my way back through Dubai after my first visit a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely loved it and this time my 4 year old decided she wanted to "fly" and won't stop talking about it. Great instructor and great experience. I'll be back next time I visit Dubai for sure!
